The Churches in Stansted Mountfitchet

Stansted has four churches, Anglican, Roman Catholic, Free and Friends (Quakers).

The Methodist and United Reformed churches joined together in a Local Ecumenical Partnership and are now called Stansted Free and is situated on Chapel Hill in the old URC Chapel.

The Friends meet in the Friends Meeting House on Chapel Hill.

The Roman Catholic Church, St Theresa's has amalgamated with St Anthony's, Henham and now worship on a new site in a new building on High Lane.

St John's is the Anglican church which is part of a united benefice with Birchanger and Farnham.

There is a Fraternal of the clergy of the churches and a representative from the Friends, which meets regularly.
