Building Plots in Stansted : Beware Investors

An organization is currently selling speculative building plots in Stansted Mountfitchet village, near Broome End Care Home.

However the District Council (Uttlesford) is close to deciding on how many new  houses are actually to be allowed in the village's 15-year development plan to 2028: likely to be around only 60.  Moreover the speculative plots also lie in the Metropolitan Green Belt and access is a problem from an already overloaded highway so the District Council is most unlikely to allow building there in favour of other parts of the village which are more suitable.  Therefore these plots, while technically feasible for building, are unllikely to realize any gain until that date at least !
