It takes quite a tricky maneuver to get through the hatch on to the fan stage but Ken manages. He needs to inspect the work.

 

These weights are used to regulate the shutters.

The brushes installed earlier to keep the birds out of the cap didn't work - they got cought up in the rollers - so some wire mesh is being tried instead.

 

The last brick... and one or two more bits of repointing.
