The track for the curb is on site, as is the inner track for the centering wheels, and the stainless steel outer reinforcing band has been fitted.

The new track is thicker than the old so the rebate has been lowered a little and here a deeper rebate has been cut for the 'fishplates' that join the sections of track. The screws hold the track together and nuts and bolts every four cogs fix it to the curb.

Some of the brick repairs and repointing is in awkward places...
