March 11th...

The cap returns to the top of the tower.

A large crane has arrived on site, this time from 'City Lifting'.  Teranova, the company that took the cap off the mill, went bust a couple of weeks ago.

The curb, ready for the cap to be refitted. You can see the top of one of the new pins and a few drops of the resin in which they are set.

The crane is ready to go...

...And the cap is ready too.

It's a tight fit... this centering wheel has to be removed while the cap hangs from the crane.

Back on the top.

One of the jacks used to lift the cap off its steel beam cradle. The cap is then lowered onto blocks while the beams are removed before it's placed back on its rollers.

The steel beams that made up the cradle are man handled out of the way.

While the heavier ones are taken off by the crane.
