St John’s Prayer Group meets on the second Wednesday of
the month. We are a small very informal group who meet together
to pray for the sick. Prayers are asked for those on the Church
prayer list and for any known privately to ourselves. We meet
in the homes of members of the group. We welcome anyone who wishes to
join the group either on a regular basis or on occasions to pray for a
particular need. Please see church notice sheet for details of venue
of next meeting or contact Marion Johnson.
St John's Book Group will re-convene on Wednesday 17th
September 2008 and will meet fortnightly until 26th November. The
Autumn book will be What is the Point of Being a Christian? by
Timothy Radcliffe. Everyone is welcome to come along.
