Children are of huge importance to us at St John's Church,
seeing them as the life-blood of the church. All children are
genuinely welcome with us, and parents are made to feel at ease, and
shouldn't worry about the realistic amount of noise that children make
whilst in church. Sunday School, or Children's Church as we often
call it, is available for children from age 3 to 11, giving children the
chance to learn how Jesus fits into our everyday lives in a gentle
way. We meet in church every Sunday for the 9.30am service, going
out together before the sermon, and returning to have communion together,
as well as giving the rest of the congregation a chance to hear what we
have learned together that morning. Our learning incorporates a
mixture of craft activities, acting, singing, and playing, as well as
listening to that day's bible story and talking through it
