Flood Alert – Lower Street

We’re expecting more heavy rain to fall from Tuesday late afternoon until the early hours of Thursday morning.  Councillors and local residents will be busy keeping the trash screen in Lower Street clear in an attempt to stop the lower section of the village from flooding – anyone able to assist with this vital work should contact the office on 01279 813214 to volunteer.

The Parish Council has a limited supply of sandbags available to parishioners.  However, these will have to be collected as we are unable to offer a delivery service.

They are under the pram porch outside Crafton Green House (next to the library).  For future reference, filled sandbags can also be purchased through many outlets online and delivered to your home.

Covid – Skatepark Shuts
