A section of High Lane will close for 5 days in March.

Essex Highways are to close a section of High Lane for five days from March 13 to allow Cadent to carry out some work.

The temporarily closure will affect a length of High Lane, from a point approximately 70m north west of its junction with Birchalls for a distance of approximately 70m in a north easterly direction.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas company Cadent undertakes a new connection.

An alternative route is available via Cambridge Road, Chapel Hill, Lower Street and vice versa (with access only into High Lane).
