The skatepark has now re-opened on a two-week trial basis. The council’s decision was taken after consultation with the police and Seann Tompson, a long-standing user of the skatepark
and an organiser of the annual SkateJam.
Seann also carried out a great deal of prep work to reopen the skatepark. Signage detailing rules of use is now in place as are yellow two-metre social distancing lines.
You are reminded to touch in with the QR code before using the park.
Flagrant flouting of the rules will result in the park’s closure.
