2023 Community Grants

In 2022 the Parish Council gave more £5,000 in support to local sports clubs, charities and social organisations. If you’d like to get a Parish Council grant this year, let us know.

TouchPoint, the Stansted Millers, Uttlesford Community Travel, Human Roots, Stansted Hall & Cricket Club, and Uttlesford Citizens Advice all successfully applied for grants in the past twelve months to help them deliver services and activities for our community.
In the 2023/4 budget as much as £7,000* could be available to help local organisations support Stansted’s residents.
If you have ideas of how the money could be used by your organisation, let us know by emailing us before the application window closes on Friday, March 31.
In your application be sure to detail:
  • How much you would like to apply for
  • What you will spend the grant on
  • How your organisation will help the people of Stansted
  • The number of people you will help in the village
  • And send over a copy of your most recent accounts
The grants are available to sports clubs, community groups, and any organisation that meets a need for our residents.
The Parish Council will announce the names of organisations that have been successful in their bid for a grant.
Please note all organisations need to be properly constituted to apply.
*Money set aside in the 2023/24 Parish Council Budget totals  £6,150, to which will be added any grant funding left over from the previous financial year. As of February 2023 there £850 remaining in unclaimed funds.
