2023 ELECTIONS
In May there will be elections for parish and district councils. Find out how to put yourself forward as a candidate in these elections.
Uttlesford District Council are inviting anyone wishing to stand in the May elections to attend one of two Zoom briefings for candidates and agents – details on this page Local elections 2023 – Uttlesford District Council .
The briefing will go through completing nomination papers and about how the election is to run and include an update on voter ID. As Clerks you may want to attend one of these 90 minute sessions.
We have also attached two documents relating to the election.
The first outlines the election schedule providing information of deadlines for candidates to submit their nomination papers, proxy votes, the publication of personal statements and the voting times on May 4.
The second document by the district council explains how you should go about completing your nomination papers.
