Election Result
We are delighted that George Braeckman will be joining us as a parish councillor.
George stood as a Conservative Party candidate in the North Ward of the village and has been elected unopposed.
At 18, he will be our youngest member and was also re-elected onto the Young Essex Assembly in May.
We would also like to remind residents that an election in the south ward is to be held on October 14 between two candidates standing as independents — Peter Jones and Lois Prior.
Registration deadline: If you would like to vote in this election and have not already registered to vote, you have until midnight on Tuesday 28 September to do so – register to vote on GOV.UK
Postal Vote deadline: anyone who wishes to vote by post must submit a valid postal vote application by 5pm on Wednesday 29 September.
