ELECTIONS CALLED
Elections have been called to fill vacant parish councillor positions in Stansted’s north and south words.
Residents wishing to stand must submit by hand their nomination papers before 4pm, Friday Sept 17 to the Returning officer, Council offices, London Road, Saffron Waldon, CB11 4ER.
They should contact the Elections Office (01799 510434; elections@uttlesford.gov.uk) in the first instance.
Thursday, October 14 has been chosen as the election date for both wards should elections be contested.
