Football at the Rec on Sunday, September 11 from 10am-noon in support of Suicide Prevention Day

Let’s Play. Let’s Talk. That’s the message from Let’s Talk, Stansted who are once again teaming up with the Unfit Kick-about team to tackle mental health in our community.

In a repeat fixture of last year’s event, the mental health support group have arranged a kick-about with local footballing outfit the Unfit kick-about team at the Recreation Ground from 10am to noon this Sunday, to coincide with National Suicide Prevention Day.

So bring your boots and have a game, and if you don’t fancy that why not grab a coffee and come for a chat and some support? Kids are welcome and there is an ice-cream van to keep them happy.

If you can’t make it to the pitch this weekend, not to worry. The ‘unfit kick about’ football team play on the Rec every Sunday at 10am and welcome players of all abilities. The team are very open about mental health and how they support each other.
