Moor Hall Road Bridge Closed for Urgent Repairs

Roadworks M11 junction 7 Moor Hall Road Bridge – Diversion

Highways England has closed Moor Hall Road bridge 24/7 as it is not safe for traffic to pass over.

This is because of onsite issues encountered whilst replacing a bridge joint. Once these have been resolved, the closure will be removed and the remainder of the work  carried out under temporary traffic lights.





 


Work is expected to be completed on Friday 26 February, subject to weather.


Highways England are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.


Diversion


A diversion route will be in operation while this vital work is being carried out. Traffic wanting to travel eastbound across the bridge will be diverted via the B183, Hatfield Heath, Matching Road, Downhall Road to Matching Green and Harlow Road.


Westbound traffic will follow the above diversion in reverse.
