NHS England has decided against a second dispensing pharmacy in Stansted

PHARMACY CAMPAIGN

Despite NHS England recently writing to the Parish Council to indicate that it intends not to green light our proposal to licence a second dispensing chemists in Stansted, the community campaign on this issue continues.

Below are two documents. The first is written by long-standing Stansted resident Raymond Woodcock who details the strength of feeling among residents for a second dispensing pharmacy. The second document outlines why the Parish Council believes our village so sorely needs another chemists to provide prescription medicine.

Our local MP Kemi Badenoch has also recently written to the Parish Council in support of our calls for representatives of NHS England to meet with us to discuss our concerns on their stance not to not expanding dispensing services in Stansted.
