STANSTED YOUTH CLUB

We are delighted to announce that Essex Youth Services is our new service provider for the Stansted Youth Club. EYS was one of three parties that bid to run the Youth Club, after the existing contract ends this month.

EYS will work in partnership with Uttlesford District Council and the Parish Council to deliver activities for 13-19 year olds in the village.

There’s a chance for local teens to meet EYS youth workers on Tuesday 27th September 6.30pm at the Youth Centre on Lower Street. At the meet-and-greet there will be free pizza, and it will be a great chance for young residents to share their ideas of the kind of activities they would like to see the club put on.

We would also like to take the opportunity to thank Linda Barnes for running the youth club prior to announcing her retirement this summer. Linda is a former youth worker for Essex County Council and for the last 10 years has done an excellent job providing activities and services for Stansted’s youngsters.
